Bids for night safari to commence next week
The all important city of Noida is setting new benchmarks by the day. The growth and development it has achieved in the past few years simply cannot be emulated by any other city in India. Noida is the undisputed employment, education and entertainment hub of the national capital region. But Noida’s biggest strength lies in the fact that the city is getting bigger and better by the day. For instance, three of the grandest projects ever to grace the city are all set to take off pretty soon.
Eco Park, Heliport and a state of the art night safari are the three projects which will kick off in the month of June and will change the face of Greater Noida and Noida for the way better. GNIDA – Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority officials have pointed out that these three game changing projects have been put on fast track and rightly so. The long pending decision to do so was taken during 101st board meeting of the GNIDA as it possesses all the requisite approvals for the three infrastructure projects.
As far as the heliport is concerned, a detailed project report has already been submitted and approved by the concerned authorities. The only thing pending is a no objection certificate from the UP irrigation authorities which is also expected to be garnered pretty soon. The ambitious heliport is expected to cost the government a whopping 50 crores and will be constructed on lush green 22 acres of land situated near Gautam Budh University. An additional 15 acres of land has been kept in reserve for further expansion in the near future. The construction of the same is expected to begin soon while the estimated date for starting of operations is roughly two years down the line.
While on the other hand, the proposed business plan for the cutting edge night safari has also been approved by the board. The project is slated to be developed under the PPP model and the tenders for the same will be floated somewhere around next week. As per the approved business plan, the developer of night safari will be strategically allowed to run commercial activities in a pre decided recreational green area. The aim behind this strategic move is to make the night safari financially viable.
Resort, Bar, Clubhouse etc are just few of the facilities which can and will be provided. Spread across 337 acres of land, night safari is expected to cost a staggering 750 crores but will put Noida on the world map. Slated for a 2017 release, night safari will be built at a fiery pace adjoining the Gautam Budh University.
While the upcoming eco park is already being hailed as the green lung of the city and rightly so. The 132 crore eco park will be built on 2500 acres of land. Thus pollution free air is certainly in the pipeline for the residents of Noida. Eco Park will also help in restoring the ecological balance in the city. So explore the world class universe of Noida and live the fun and grand life.
