ABOUT THE EVENT

The event that puts India on the map with regards to automobile industry is back in the National Capital Region. This is the 2020 edition of Auto Expo which will start from 5^th February (Wednesday) to 12^th February (Wednesday) at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The first two days of the event has been reserved for media houses so that they could cover all the new launches, 7^th is again reserved for business hours which will be an 18+ entry. After getting done with all the work, the event will be open for public from 8^th all the way till 12^th February. The main focus of the event is to bring light to some of the latest technologies and innovations in the auto industry. Unlike previous years where the focus was to show static display of motor vehicles, Auto Expo 2020 will focus on the entire Mobility Eco-System. As the auto brands have already geared up to make it a grand show, some of the visitors are still wondering about how to book and reach to the venue.

What started off as a mere platform for one-to-one interaction has now turned out to be one of the biggest exhibitions both in terms of area and footfall. Since the first ever Indian Auto Expo in 1986 the event has gained tremendous respect which has made it gain worldwide attention. It’s a week-long biennial show which attracts millions of enthusiasts from around the world.

Many major players like Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Skoda, KIA, GWM, Mahindra and many more are showcasing their projects which may or may not make it to the market. But that’s not the aim of the event, what it tries to show is how much has our technology advanced since the last event. Trying to show what can be done and where have we reached, both in terms of hardware and software.

TICKETS

Timings – 11:00 am to 7:00 pm for Weekdays | 11:00 am to 8:00 pm for Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

There are multiple ticket options for the event, price for the business hours on 7^th Feb is Rs 750/-

In case you’re planning on visiting with your family, you can reach the venue anytime between 8^th to 12^th Feb. the ticket prices for these days are Rs 475/- for weekends and Rs 350/- for weekdays. Just remember that these prices are for adults when the event will be open to the public with no minimum age bar. You can choose to book your tickets from many online ticketing platforms like Book My Show etc. If you feel like buying a ticket directly from a vendor, you can always choose to buy it at Sector 51, Sector 137 and Knowledge Park II metro station and many other metro stations throughout Delhi.

HOW TO REACH

• IF YOU ARE FLYING TO DELHI

In case you’re flying to Delhi for the event, you will land at the Indra Gandhi International Airport. If you choose to take the metro, you need take the blue line and make sure that you get off at Sector 52 Metro Station. Then you need to switch to Aqua line, which will drop you to Knowledge Park II station.

• USING THE DELHI METRO

If you’re using the Delhi metro you need to get onto the blue line from your respective lines and then switch to aqua line at sector 52 which will take you directly to Knowledge Park II station. As you get off the station the event is just 650 mts away. You could easily find an e-rickshaw which can take you there.

• VIA ROAD

Route 1

Take the DND expressway and approach towards Greater Noida exit after crossing the toll booths. Continue past Film City and onto the expressway which would lead you directly to the venue.

Route 2

If coming via Mathura Road, you need to drive past the Apollo Hospital and take left towards Kalindi Kunj to reach Amity Flyover then take the loop to get on to the expressway which again would take you directly to the venue.
