Metro connectivity to boost employments in Faridabad
After the inception of Delhi Metro, the life of people in NCR has radically changed. People no longer need to suffer the hectic traffic accompanied with the ear piercing horns. They can travel luxuriously in AC coaches of Delhi Metro which is ranked second worldwide in terms of performance in the Net Promoters Score (NPS) embedding its success among commuters.
The latest beneficiary of the successful Metro connectivity, certainly not the last is the bordering city of Delhi, Faridabad. Being the industrial capital of India, Faridabad has attracted many aspiring youths to the city owing to its ideal employment opportunities. Many have become the bread winner of their family by clinching to the jobs in Faridabad. With the extended arm of Delhi metro from Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar, more jobs will be created in Faridabad as many large/small scale industries and MNC’s are eyeing to avail the opportunity laid by Metro.
Presently there are countless large scale industries in Faridabad like JCB, Yamaha, Indian Oil, Goodyear, Whirlpool, Havells, Swaraj Mazda, Khaitan and much more. With the advent of metro, more outsourcing firms, banking companies and corporates will relocate to Faridabad over the next year, triggering more job openings.
Faridabad hosts many employees who belong to Delhi. These people daily commute from Delhi to Faridabad to earn their living. With the Delhi-Badarpur expansion, this employee circle will start thinking to shift their home to Faridabad. These employees will be further motivated by Faridabad’s inclusion in the smart city list which came because of ideal governance. This will attract more corporates to rest in Faridabad, thanks to Delhi for its shortage of space.
DBS Bank, Indus Ind Bank and Escorts Group of companies have already started their plans to implement in Faridabad which will boost employment opportunities. On completion of the ongoing work of NH2, the city will procure more talent from neighbouring NCR cities due to its enhanced connectivity. Presently automobile giants like Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, Chevrolet has taken up lands in close vicinity of NH2 offering ocean of job opportunities.
To redefine itself as a business hub, apart from the corporates, land has been allotted to cooperative societies and other government enterprises which will also provide job to many common people.
The future undertakings by government also seem good for Faridabad. The Delhi–Faridabad metro will be further expanded to Ballabhgarh which will mark the widest metro connected region in NCR offering job for many. The Haryana government is also planning for the dream construction of Gurgaon-Faridabad metro which will open floodgates to Gurgaon’s development and IT firms.
So the functioning of the long awaited Badarpur expansion will certainly be the ‘launching’ of new hopes for many seeking jobs and further rooting the better future prospects of Faridabad.
